Made with Love is a watercolor mixed-media illustration course built around one of the most charming subjects imaginable — the well-loved, paint-splattered, ruffled and ribbon-tied artist's apron. You'll illustrate three complete aprons from start to finish: a floral apron, a prairie apron, and an overall apron — each one drawn, painted, and detailed through its own three-part video sequence. Before you pick up a pencil, three warm-up exercises walk you through controlled color splashing, layered mark-making, and a full collage assembly that prepares your eye and hand for everything ahead. And when the main projects are done, there's even more waiting: a gallery of ten additional apron illustrations, a bonus altered apron lesson, a bonus stitched apron lesson using real fabric, a miniature sewing pattern with straps and pockets, and bonus drawing sheets for ribbons, banners, and sashes. Then each project follows the same draw, paint, mark sequence, so you're building fluency in the process itself, not just copying results.
