A FOND FAREWELL

Dearest Creative Souls,

For well over a decade, I have had the privilege of teaching thousands of students how to see, how to make, and how to trust their own creative voice. From in-person workshops around the world to two published books, mentoring, commissions, and more than fifty courses both here and beyond Teachable — this has been a full and beautiful creative life, and so much of it was built right here alongside you.

Many of you have been with me from the very beginning, and that is not something I take lightly. Thank you for showing up, for making things, and for letting my work find a place in your creative practice. It has meant more than I can say.

This creative chapter is closing, and I am deeply grateful for every rainbow-filled moment of it.

RETIREMENT MESSAGE 10.1.26

WHAT'S HAPPENING AND WHEN

October 1, 2026 — Retirement announced. Your two months begins. The school closing date is confirmed via email, newsletter, and online classroom.

October 1 – November 30, 2026 — Your window to download everything. Print the Danielle Donaldson Online Art Course PDF below. Log into your classroom dashboard and complete the checklist. Once complete, open the Start Here! lesson in each of your courses, and download your files. Re-download any standalone digital download PDFs. Once the site is deactivated, enrollment information and course downloads will not be available to owner or students.

November 30, 2026 — Last day of access. The school is accessible through the end of this day. Download everything you want to keep before midnight PST. No exceptions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

But you promised lifetime access. What does that mean? Lifetime access has always meant access for the life of the school — and that commitment has been fully honored. Your materials have been available to you from the moment you purchased. The school is now closing, and November 30th, 2026 is that date. Everything is in your Start Here! lesson right now, ready to download. This is not a change to the terms of your purchase — the school closing on a defined date is consistent with what lifetime access has always meant.

Can I get a refund? My policy has always been that once purchased, you have immediate access to all course materials — and that remains true right now through November 30th, 2026. Because full access was granted at the time of purchase, I am not able to offer refunds or make exceptions, and this decision is final.

Can you make an exception for me? No. The refund policy, the access deadline, and the close date are the same for everyone. I know that is not what you want to hear, and I am genuinely sorry if the timing is difficult — but the answer is the same regardless of the circumstances.

Will you keep classroom enrollment data or course content after closing Teachable site? After November 30th I will no longer have access to any teachable data including your enrollment information.

I'm having trouble with a download, video, or the platform itself. All zip files and PDFs provided have been carefully inspected for errors and are functioning properly across all tested platforms. If you are experiencing difficulties downloading these files, it is unlikely that there is a problem with the files themselves. Please double-check your internet connection and device settings.

For issues related to streaming, browser compatibility, or device functionality, technical support from hello@danielledonaldson is not available for download, video, or platform issues, as these matters are beyond her control. If you encounter any problems related to the platform, such as difficulties with accessing content or technical glitches, please reach out to Teachable student support for assistance. You can contact their support team by emailing support@teachable.com.
